• for this style: amy is a true 6.5, wears a 36 or 37 in birkenstock. she wears a size 36.5 in the mandarin. 
• initially, the fit may feel too tight, as though the strap is pushing your foot out of the sandal — this is normal! after several wears, the straps will begin to soften and the footbed will begin to mold to your feet.
• the leather sole is slick at first, but it is meant to be scuffed.
